I ended up with Windows XP in Spanish, not something that I like but what ever...
 
The point is, when I open the todo.txt with Windows Notepad and use Control+G to save the file the application crashes with no errors.
 
If I use Notepad++ open the file,edit and then Save (Ctrl+S)
 
Any ideas on why?
